Our designers had the opportunity to work with Enrique Iglesias on the opening of his new restaurant on South Beach: Tatel Restaurant.
Located in the historic Collins Avenue Ritz Carlton, the existing restaurant has Art Deco elements that were preserved and polished, with the opportunity to expand on Miami’s famed Deco movement.
Preserving Historical Features
The main lighting feature, a custom produced chandelier made of radial structural plates, had to go through rigorous zoning and city planning approvals and was almost rejected.
It was ultimately approved and built to amplify the bar at the entrance. You can see the original detail of the soffit that allowed for the circular chandelier to take life.
